Services

Solana provides a complete range of disability supports designed to enhance independence, confidence, and wellbeing. Services are available in English, Farsi, Dari, Hazaragi, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, and Serbian, and are tailored to your lifestyle and goals.

Daily Living and Personal Care

Daily Living Support helps you manage everyday routines with comfort and dignity. Care is personalised to your preferences and may include assistance with showering, grooming, dressing, hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility. We also help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and home organisation so your environment remains safe and welcoming. Our focus is to strengthen independence wherever possible, offering gentle coaching and encouragement so you can do more on your own over time.

Community Participation

Community participation builds belonging, confidence, and joy. Solana supports you to engage in social, cultural, recreational, and learning activities that match your interests. We help you plan outings, attend events, join clubs or groups, and explore nature, art, fitness, or faith‑based activities. When anxiety, communication barriers, or transport challenges get in the way, we provide patient, step‑by‑step support and companionship so new environments feel safe and positive. Group options are available for those who enjoy shared experiences and friendship.

Assist–Travel and Transport

Safe, reliable transport keeps you connected. We provide door‑to‑door trips to medical appointments, shopping, social visits, study, and work. If independent travel is a goal, we coach you to use public transport confidently by planning routes, reading timetables, and practicing real journeys with a support worker until you feel ready.

Emotional Wellbeing and Motivational Support

Emotional health underpins quality of life. We provide warm, one‑to‑one emotional support that focuses on listening, encouragement, and practical tools for resilience. Together we set meaningful goals and build coping strategies for stress, anxiety, or low motivation. Sessions may include mindfulness, relaxation techniques, journaling, and positive mindset exercises tailored to your comfort and capacity. For older adults we honour life stories and identity, and for younger participants we emphasise self‑esteem, motivation, and healthy habits.

Capacity Building and Life Skills Development

Capacity building equips you with practical skills for everyday independence. Through hands‑on coaching we develop cooking, cleaning, shopping, time management, communication, and safe technology use. Learning is paced to your preferences with clear steps and supportive feedback so confidence grows steadily.

Budgeting and Financial Assistance

Financial stability reduces stress and expands choice. With over five years of experience in finance and budgeting, Solana offers personalised guidance to help you take control of money and plan ahead with confidence. We review income and expenses together, create simple budgets that fit your life, and build skills in safe online banking, bill management, savings, and understanding NDIS budgets. For young adults or those new to managing money, we establish strong habits early so financial independence becomes achievable.

8 Week Gym Program

Solana Support Services’ 8-week Fitness & Confidence Program helps NDIS participants build strength, routine and real-life independence in a safe, supportive environment. Across 2–3 guided gym sessions each week, participants work on strength, mobility, confidence in community settings, personal safety, and healthy habits. The program supports both physical and mental wellbeing, with a focus on routine, emotional regulation and life skills that carry over into everyday situations. Gym access and transport are fully covered by Solana within Adelaide and surrounding areas, making it easy to get started.

Employment Assistance and Work Readiness

Work can transform confidence and purpose. With more than three years of experience in employment assistance, we support you to explore career interests, identify strengths, and prepare for jobs that suit your goals. We coach you through resume writing, interview practice, and professional communication, and we build work‑readiness skills such as time management, teamwork, and understanding workplace expectations. When employment begins, mentoring continues to support a smooth transition. If you wish to explore self‑employment, we provide introductory guidance on planning and budgeting.
